We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Senior Buyer in our Kingsville office.
The Senior Buyer will primarily be responsible for the tactical procurement of supplies, equipment, and services to be used by the organization. The Senior Buyer coordinates their efforts with the farm and warehouse to maintain the appropriate level of inventory. This role will utilize expert knowledge to purchase goods and services that meet quality requirements and specifications at the most favorable price for the company, while simultaneously building and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Main Responsibilities
- Oversee all purchasing activities, including packaging, raw materials, machinery, and other essential supplies, ensuring cost-effective procurement and alignment with business needs
- Conduct extensive research and negotiate contracts with suppliers while managing inventory and ensuring all purchases align with budget constraints
- Maintains an extensive database for all orders that is up to date and provides information for analysis and reporting
- Supports the Supplier Scorecard Process management, evaluations & reviews; including claims again suppliers
- Conducts cost analysis on the coordination & execution of competitive bids and the implementation of supply agreements & rebate programs
- Establishes delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide procurement solutions that meet their needs
- Drives continuous improvement projects to optimize process and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives
- Ensures compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures
- Supports the set-up of vendors identified by the Marketing & Packaging or Operations teams
- Develop simplification applications to eliminate manual inefficiencies in procurement operations, ensuring focus on high-value work
- Oversee the Inventory Specialist, ensuring alignment with procurement and inventory management goals
- Ensure compliance with controls, audit readiness, and transparent governance
- Stays current with changes that may impact the supply and demand of needed products and materials, advising relevant stakeholders of potential impacts
- Identifies cost savings and accountability to implement the respective changes
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to negotiate pricing, discuss order specifications, address issues, and maintain strong business relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3 – 5+ years experience in a purchasing role
- Strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions
- Working experience in the Produce industry preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to identify common ground and develop commercially viable solutions while effectively assessing and managing risks.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders
- Capable of quickly analyzing and resolving unexpected challenges with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
- Experience drafting vendor agreements including the ability to strategically assess and mitigate risk with vendors and suppliers through well-structured agreements
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to work with tight timelines and under pressure
- Knowledge of Famous software an asset

Repack Supervisor

The Repack Supervisor, under the direction of the Operations Manager, will primarily be responsible for organizing, directing, and controlling the repacking activity of the distribution centre. This role will ensure the repack team meets production targets and quality standards, train staff in production methods, safety and company policy and procedures as well as identify and correct health and safety issues.

Main Responsibilities:
- Organizes daily repack work, including monitoring availability of product and packaging materials, ensuring both are set-up in a timely manner to operate efficiently; in collaboration with the Warehouse Coordinator
- Ensures adequate labour is on-hand to fulfill the days’ work requirements
- Completes daily repack reporting and documentation on time and with a keen attention to detail
- Creates a safe environment and ensures work is performed according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and delegating work accordingly
- Works to reduce company expenses by minimizing overtime and controlling other operational expenses.
- Analyzes departmental operations and identifies areas requiring improvement
- Resolves any employee conflicts quickly and efficiently, completing reports
- Monitors the quantity and quality of output product to ensure that it meets company targets and customer standards
- Identifies, investigates, corrects, and documents potential safety problems/concerns
- Understands the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, sanitation, HACCP, Company policies and procedures, and SQF Systems; ensures operations functions in compliance with these

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field preferred
- Minimum two years’ experience as a supervisor
- Experience in the produce industry preferred
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve and exceed their goals
- Ability to train employees including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required
- Ability to work well as a team player in a fast-paced environment

Part-Time Truck Driver

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Part-Time Truck Driver in our Kingsville Distribution Centre.
This is a part-time position with an expected schedule of approximately 20 hours per week. The primary workdays will be Wednesday or Thursday, as well as Saturday.
Main Responsibilities:
- Complies with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, and weights and dimensions as well as company policies and procedures
- Performs all pre-trip inspections, trip logs and vehicle service and repair logs
- Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits
- Interacts with customers/vendors in a professional manner
- Checks load-related documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions, utilizing all safety equipment as required by various locations
- Collects and verify delivery instructions
- Reports traffic violations, vehicle defects, accidents, and vehicle maintenance issues
- Understands and complies with all Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety and Operations policy and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with professional training program
- Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent with AZ license
- Valid AZ license required with clean driver’s abstract
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, HACCP, and Food Safety programs an asset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for recruitment processes under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, including screening applications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining clear communication with candidates and hiring managers

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in human resources management, business administration, or a related field
- 1-2+ years of work experience in Human Resources required
- CHRP designation, or working towards, considered an asset
- Experience coordinating full-cycle recruitment
- Previous experience with HRIS/HCM software, specifically UKG Pro and Workforce Management, considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Demonstrated ability to provide beneficial recommendations to solve HR related issues related to regulations, laws and policies

Main Responsibilities
